I know most of you received your Glossybox weeks ago so you are probably thinking, this is a little late to review at the end of the month. However, there was some sort of mix up with the postal address so I received my special Harrod's edition box yesterday. It was definitely worth the wait. This is my first Glossybox so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, aside from what I had read on other blogs and vlogs. Jessica French wrote a really great review of her Harrod's Glossybox so you should have a read if you haven't already. Everyone receives slightly different products, based on what beauty profile you complete upon signing up to Glossybox.
The most exciting part is receiving the beautifully designed package, a pokadot exterior box and a white box inside with all of the goodies. I was so impressed with the quality of the products and size of the contents. They are not just ordinary samples, you get a good size to test. The added bonus is, all of these items can fit into the tiny airport bags for makeup/cosmetics when you are only traveling with hand luggage.
VERSACE - VANITAS VERSACE eau de parfum
This was definitely my favourite in the entire box. I wasn't expecting to receive any perfume and it was a nice surprise. It is a rich fragrance with a dash of flower, lime and freesia. The best thing about this is, it can fit in my carry on luggage when I flying anywhere. Usually when I have carry on I just take a mini deodorant and have to leave my perfume at home, however, this is the ideal size! Now that I have my travel size perfume issued resolved, I think I will definitely be purchasing this perfume. It is light and fresh for the summer and can go from day to night.
BLISS - BLOOD ORANGE AND WHITE PEPPER BODY
Out of all of the fruit, I think oranges are in the middle of my list of favourites. I love them, but sometimes the smell lingers which I don't like. However, I gave this a try and it leaves your skin feeling really soft. I must admit it was really refreshing and I felt rejuvenated using this after a shower. If you love oranges or even the smell you will love this product. It dries really quickly and doesn't stick on your skin like some moisturisers. Drying time is essential for girls and ladies on the go!
REVIVE - INTENSITE CREME LUSTRE SPF30
This is a firming moisturiser which you can use after you cleanse and tone. I didn't try this just yet but I will tonight and see how my skin is in the morning!
LEIGHTON DENNY - HIGH PERFORMANCE NAIL COLOUR
This is a very classic colour called - Honey Trap, which looks like a mix between clay grey and cream "Gream!!". I really have to test this out on my nails, but I really think this would look best with a tan. For now I am wearing bright colours on my nails so I will possibly test this out after my holidays, whenever that will be!!
CLARINS - EXTRA - FIRMING BODY CREAM
I love Clarins products but I really don't buy them very often. I usually receive them as gifts for Christmas, which I love and the best thing is, they last forever! I haven't tried this out yet but I am hoping it does what it says on the tin!
