Reserved for Ruby began in February 2012. The name derives from a love for vintage jewellery, my very first ring being a vintage ruby ring at 10 years of age. I am Irish, living in Dublin and love to write about fashion, make up, jewellery and online shopping! I know I have too much "stuff". My clothes hang over an extra rail I bought as well as filling up the wardrobe. The rest are in suitcases! This is in the hope that one day I will have a gigantic walk in wardrobe.
For anyone reading this who has just started a blog, a little advice, don't give up! When I started I felt and I knew I could do better. But the main thing was, I was fulfilling my creative outlet. What you write on your blog is probably only a small percentage of all the creative work you do. I like to sketch, paint, work with pastels, play around with creating websites as well as put different outfits together (which I believe is still an art!).
I will never give up. I believe perseverance, hard work and constantly pushing your potential will get there. If you love to write, write everyday. If you love to sketch, sketch something everyday. If you love to take photographs, take at least one photograph everyday. By the end of 365 days, you will have at least 365 words (hopefully you wrote more than one word per day), 365 sketches and 365 photographs. Some could be amazing, others might be something you don't like. However, this will lead, and I can be sure on this, one step closer to where you want to be.
Everything takes time. All creative work takes more time.
