It begins with a love of fashion and everything that completes the entire fashion industry. From the jewellery to the make up, creative designs, insights and thoughts on trends and the extreme excitement that lights up the fashion world at every fashion week, from London to Paris, Milan and New York. Another love of mine is to write, so it was only natural to create a blog.
And so, Reserved for Ruby was born, a blog about what inspires me, what turns a dull, cloudy day into a bright one and the start of my designs.
You will see from my next posts, I love to sketch and paint but it is hard to find the time. I only wish there were more hours in the day and I would get to everything I want..or would I? I can only try.
Creating new pieces of jewellery derived from not finding key pieces with what I wanted to wear everyday. Accessorising was proving difficult and I wasn't able to complete the look. So it was time for a change. Inspired by Chanel, Vogue, and everything on and off the catwalk. I have sourced different products from all over the world to make once off unique pieces. Below is an image of my latest design using "hound tooth" material (at least I think that is what it's called!) which is made from cashmere and wool. It feels so soft to touch and this photo doesn't do it justice, however, I will take a clear picture of the finished piece once it is complete.
